IPL auction 2022

Chennai Super Kings – N Srinivasan (India Cements):

Super Kings, the IPL’s reigning champions, are one of the tournament’s most popular teams. The squad has won the championship four times: in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021. Ex Indian captain MS Dhoni leads the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In the Indian Premier League, Team CSK had the most incredible winning rate. CSK is the only club in the Indian Premier League history to have participated in all playoffs, except for 2020. CSK also holds the record for the greatest number of final appearances. After the spot-fixing controversy in 2015, the Justice Lodha Committee suspended the squad for two years. However, this did not stop the champs from coming back even stronger! The owner of Chennai Super Kings is N Srinivasan, the CEO of India Cements. Mr. Srinivasan is estimated to have a net worth of $80 million.

Mumbai Indians – Mukesh Ambani (Reliance):

Mr. Mukesh Ambani, the head of the Reliance Group and India’s most prominent business mogul, owns the Mumbai Indians. He is the club’s only owner. It is no surprise that the club owner is also the world’s second-richest sports franchise owner, trailing only Steve Balmer, founder and CEO of the Los Angeles Clippers of the National basketball association. Mukesh Ambani is estimated to have a net worth of $75 billion.

Sunrisers Hyderabad – Kalanithi Maaran (Sun TV network):

Sun TV Network is India’s largest media and entertainment corporation. The network owns 32 television channels as well as 45 Radio stations. The net worth of Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kalanithi Maran is reported to be 1.6 billion USD.

Kolkata Knight Riders – Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla (Red Chillies Entertainment):

Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Kolkata Knight Riders are one of the tournament’s most famous clubs. Gautam Gambhir has captained the squad to two victories in 2012 and 2014. Red Chillies Entertainment and the Mehta group operate Kolkata Knight Riders (Red Chillies Entertainment has a significant stake). Due to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the squad is exceptionally famous among enthusiasts. Shah Rukh Khan’s net worth is approximately 640 million USD. He is among the most well-known Indian Premier League team owners.

Royal Challengers Bangalore – Anand Kripalu (United Spirits LTD.):

United Spirits Ltd took over as the official owners of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2021. It is one of the tournament’s strongest teams. To date, the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad has not won a single season. However, the team has finished second three times: in 2009, 2011, and 2016.

Rajasthan Royals – Manoj Badale (British Asian Trust):

This IPL squad is from Jaipur, Rajasthan. This squad, too, hosts a well-known Indian Premier League team owner. The Rajasthan Royals ownership and squad are frequently referred to be the Indian Premier League’s Moneyball club. In 2008, the team won the inaugural season of the competition. Despite this, the squad has yet to win a championship since. Manoj Badale and Lachlan Murdoch own the team equally. Manoj Badale, the owner of the Rajasthan Royals, has a net worth of $160 million.

Delhi Capitals – Parth Jindal (JSW):

The Delhi Capitals finished second in the IPL 2020 season. The GMR and JSW groups share ownership of the team. The team’s most remarkable season came in the 13th season of the Indian Premier League. Shreyas Iyer led the Delhi Capitals through their first finals in 2020. The team was formerly known as the Delhi Daredevils, but the title was changed to the Delhi Capitals two years ago after a 50 percent share was purchased by the JSW group. Parth Jindal of the JSW company is believed to have a net worth somewhere between $1 and $5 million. Parth Jindal is the Indian Premier League’s youngest franchise owner.

Punjab Kings – Preity Zinta:
