The wait is finally over and all things are being set up for the IPL 2020. BCCI has already released the IPL 2020 match schedules and the IPL teams have started reaching to UAE for this grand league. BCCI announced the title sponsor for IPL 2020 on 18 Aug. Dream 11 is going to replace the Vivo as title sponsor for this IPL season.
The sponsorship agreement is for one year and it will replace the Vivo which was the IPL title sponsors for the last four years. Gaming Fantasy Platform Dream 11 placed the bid of Rs 222 crore which was the highest among all competitors. The other two bidders were online education platform Byju and Unacademy. The second bid was of the Byju 201 crore while the Unacademy was at third spot, confirmed BCCI.
However, this bid is very low when compared to Vivo four year term price. Vivo purchased the title sponsorship right with a bid of Rs 421 crore a year. But the Dream 11 bid is also good considering the current economic situation. You can watch IPL 2020 on JIo and Hotstar.
