From our experience of using Vidgo Tv subscription, we would rate it 9.4 out of 10. The 0.6 points deducted are because it lacks one of the essential features of live streaming TVs which is a DVR. The price is also on a higher side when compared to other options in the market.
But it remains a viable option. Because Vidgo TV packages start with plans at just $55/month which is almost half when compared to an average cable bill. You can now also access all the 95 + channels of Vidgo TV only at $10/ month for the first month.
It allows you to access three devices at the same time which is a plus. It is also supported in almost all kinds of devices like many competitors.
Vidgo subscription packages
- Earlier, there were options for different Vidgo Tv packages, but now they have only one $55/month plan. It has also shifted from just providing live tv shows as you can watch on-demand shows on this platform.
- Unlike Philo TV packages, Vidgo TV plans have something for every viewer, including entertainment, kids, lifestyle, news, and sports. The Vidgo Tv package is especially great for families with members from different age groups and has different tastes regarding TV shows.

User Interface:While using the Vidgo Tv subscription, our overall user experience was good. It has a simple and easy grid guide. When you open the channel, you will see the complete list of channels that are arranged in alphabetical order.
I particularly liked that it separates its channel lineup into categories like Recents, Favorites, Family, and Sports. So you won’t have to scroll through a pile of channels just to find what that one shows you want to watch.
What we didn’t like is that Vidgo TV doesn’t show what’s streaming live at the moment. To find out, you will have to see the description box where the channel’s time slot is mentioned.
Free trial daysEarlier, you used to have the option to access a Vidgo Tv subscription with a 3-days free trial. Unfortunately, they recently stopped that and replaced it with a $10 for a month deal.

Watching shows along with your friends is always more fun than watching alone at home, especially in the current pandemic situation. With a Vidgo Tv subscription, you can now watch parties every day.
Vidgo offers you the option to chat with your friends while watching tv. There are chat rooms where you can react, share short videos and even invite your friends to watch the show.
What you will not get with Vidgo subscription
Now let’s talk about what you won’t get in the Vidgo TV packages-
- DVR is nonexistent:
With the Vidgo Tv Subscription, you will watch live and other programs broadcasted in the last 72 hours on several channels but it does not come with a cloud DVR like other similar streaming channels.
- No add- Ons:
It doesn’t give you the option for premium add ons making the Vidgo TV packages more static.
- Where are the regional sports networks?
Vidgo Tv subscription doesn’t cover the regional sports networks. If you are a sports fan like me, it can be a significant concern.
